The month of May seemed to be filled with themes of spring time, Mother's Day and outdoor sporting activities like flying kites & baseball at Little Giants. I even got to officially register for JumpStart this upcoming fall (*otherwise known as full-time Preschool!). Although I'll show you most of my art work in my Discovery Preschool post here's a couple of things I did this past month:
I actually did the below on Sunday, May 11th (*Mother's Day) at Sunday School however wanted to show you how good I'm getting at coloring in the lines (*see how I colored Imelda blue) and how I did the dot-to-dot of the Tabernacle. Building those fine motor skills!
Hudson had a busy month and some of his favorite activities included chasing light-up balls in the dark gym (*even through the tunnels) on May 8th, and he loved all the animal units this month. On May 12th they got to do barn animal chores like pretending to feed the pigs & cows; learning the parts of the bird - tail, feet, beak, eyes, wings, etc. & finding the hidden toy birds through out their classroom on May 13th. Here is some of the art Hudson created in May including this first piece in which he painted with a slinky toy!
