This week DC was closed for their annual cleaning, etc and so we had a mix of Grandma & Mommy Care. Thank you to our wonderful Grandma's! On Friday, June 29th Grandma Anne was here and we went over for a special Grandma breakfast at Grandma Judy's house. She made so many of my favorites including eggs, fresh lemon poppy-seed bread, fruit and so on. So Yummy! Although I really enjoyed the company I also really enjoyed all the workers at Grandma Judy's house that were doing their landscaping. My favorite was my new friend Micheal running the skid loader!

In the afternoon Hudson had his follow-up ear appointment and he was all clear! Can you believe he's already 23 lb. 6 oz. (*with clothes) and 28.25 inches long! In the evening he got to try peas for the first time and did great. Didn't enjoy as much as sweet potatoes but ate them right up. Here's our hungry little guy:

This weekend was a little tough only because Hudson got his first teeth! Yep, his front two bottom teeth both came in on Sat., June 30th. All this teething wears a little (*& big) guy out!
He did grab & hold the bottle for the first time today, Sun., July 1st and loved testing out his new teeth on it! We also had lots of outdoor fun this weekend too which included me dunking Dad in the pool; he didn't see it coming:

Sat., June 30th we enjoyed a friends filled BBQ at Jared & Lexie's house and Sunday we had our first ever family movie night. Mom & I made homemade popcorn over the stove (*I got to help pour everything in & watch the corn pop the lid off the pot!) and then we did picnic style treats in the living room while watching The Incredible's. What an awesome movie! I even got to try "soda" for the first time, IBC Cream Soda. Yummy! Unfortunately, my bedtime still applied so had to cut the movie short but we had a great time. Can't wait for our next movie night.
